For 's contest.This thing took me forever! I was working on it for more than two weeks straight. And I'm very proud of it. ^^You wouldn't believe how many layers it took. I just wish I could get it to save in better quality than this.
So I paired up Urg and Colonel Lima for the masquerade.
They aren't lovers or anything, just good friends. And of course Urg is dressed in the most gaudy outfit. Lima would be embarrassed, but she's gotten used to it.The only thing I wish I did better was the balcony. I'm just no good at man-made things for backgrounds. Nature, I can usually do alright.

I actually don't know why I put so much work in it. It's not like I'm obsessed with winning or anything. I think the topic just really inspired me. ^^

Doesn't really have much to do with it, actually. I'm mostly self-taught. I only use the drawing books lying around the house whenever I need reference I can't get anywhere else.
