RibbonMice are now an OPEN SPECIES; just make sure to follow the guide rules. ^^Warning: This is a BIG image and might take while to load fully
I have upgraded some of the art for the guides and compiled them all into one handy image.
Hopefully it will be easy enough to follow and understand, but if there is anything you need help with please note myself or the group admins. ^^
P.s. if you spot any mistakes or errors let me know! I promise I won't bite. ^^

There's no limit. You can have as many as you like of each. ^w^
Rares are only obtainable through special events and buying

Also are we limited to the patches shown or are we limited to the patches shown? Same question for the eyes.

Patches
The ones there are just examples - you can draw your own patches (patches can even be stitched on words).
The only thing I'd ask is that patches aren't rude (e.g. swear words or slurs) or just in general; offensive (no hate symbols or sexual icons). Not that I expect you would do any of those things! It's just a rule for everyone. I'll make sure to add it in the description. ^^
Eyes
The eyes do have to be the shapes specified: round, heart. star and flower. (round diamante) but they don't have to be the exact ones I drew. You may want pointy star eyes or a different heart shape...
Flowers eyes are the most flexible type; you can draw your flowers with only 5 petals, or they can be rose or tulip shaped. They just need to be recognizable as flowers.
Button eyes can also have different grooves and ridges in them (+1-4 button holes) and be made from different materials; wood, metals, plastic (clear or solid), porcelain etc.
Embroidered eyes are just however you want to draw them or usually draw your eyes.

The last set of guides looked like teddy bears too... I was hoping the bigger ears might make it look a little more mousey this time
