Description Appalachian sky! While on a really long drive through the mountains.

If you count the car window, a filter was used. If not, no, no filter.

Marvelous color to this one. I've never used the levels balance in just one channel before. Interesting results here. NIce pale golden hue.

I used all of them but blue shifted more than the red and green channels did. thanks

sometimes, if you adjust the color levels using auto levels the blue channel (for clouds in particular) will get darker. I don't know if there's a name for it but this can take the darker blue tones and shift them to yellow. but if the green and red channels don't also shift, this can effect the color balance in the dark tones. that's what happened here but it worked.
