Abilities: Overgrow; Rough Skin
This Pokemon used to be much more common in the past, until a climate change drastically reduced its numbers. The bromeliad sprouts seems to grow only on its back.

#002 - Brostegon, the Calcification Pokemon.
Type: Grass
Abilities: Overgrow; Rough Skin
The thickness of the tree bark in its body increases as Brostegon ages. They tend to be pacific, only using their wooden axes in battle as last resort.

#003 - Steebrosaur, the Rhytidome Pokemon.
Type: Grass/Steel
Abilities: Overgrow; Iron Barbs
In a way that still puzzles scientists, this Pokemon turns its own bark into pure steel, using the iron that obtains through feeding. The bromeliad species that grows in Steebrosaur's back can only grow there, and has develop symbiosis with its host.

Well, here it is! My Grass Starter line, Pinnelad, Brostegon and Steebrosaur.
They are based in tree bark, bromeliads and stegosaurs (well, they used to be based on stegosaur. But it has changed so much I don't know which dinosaur it looks anymore!). As I wrote there, their abilities are Overgrow (obviously) and Rough Skin, changing to Iron Barbs when it evolves to Steebrosaur (and that's awesome).

I guess I explained well enough about their "biology" in the Pokedex entries. However, in stratagy terms, their work like a strange mix between Torterra and Ferrothorn. Their movesets is similar to Venusaur and Meganium's, with the addiction to some Steel and Rock moves as well. Steebrosaur is able to learn a new move, Cannon Throw, which is like a Steel-type Hi Jump Kick. Their main function, in competitive means, is a Attacking Tank, or Lead.
