This is Gallium, so named for the element.
He is an incredibly old dragon, born from heat and magma. However, he is not affiliated with fire or magma, but heat and minerals. Gallium is intelligent enough to speak English. His voice is intimidatingly low pitched.
Those are gems growing on his chin, undiscovered by man. In fact, only few have seen Gallium live. These few know of his gems, and wish to harvest them. Doing so would involve his death.
Though non-violent, Gallium is incredibly defensive and sceptical, not trusting in anyone at first until they prove to be no threat to him.
He has no legs, only arms. His tail is like a long snake body. He doesn't really move enough for this to invoncenience him, though.
The rock plates on his body glow, and are hot to the touch. In fact, you can and will get a 3rd degree burn touching them.
