So I pulled out the kilt last night, and donned the smock, and my lovely wife and I attended our local annual Scottish festival.

It never ceases to elicit a goose-bump response from me when the pipers first enter the field on the opening night at the tattoo.

This is the flag procession with the "massed" pipe bands, consisting of most of the bands in the region playing together in unison.
