Description
So saw How to Train Your Dragon 2 today and was greatly inspired. Felt like throwing together a little animated gif for you all.
Its my second attempt at a GIF so please, be gentle. I've only just realised how limiting the colour range is for GIFs.

Also Im not usually a huge fan of crossing characters from separate Studios, especially big competitors like Pixar and Dreamworks. However I felt like MeridaxHiccup is an opportunity too good to waste!

Maybe in his explorations Hiccup might stumble across the Scottish coastline and happen upon our favourite redhead princess, who, no doubt, would be very unimpressed with the Viking invader. I wanted to illustrate their first meeting as a rather tense standoff - with Hiccup trying not to appear too aggressive, Merida putting on the most hostile face she can and Toothless just wanting to make new friends like always.

Both characters are portrayed as their young adult selves in this piece.

(also sorry for the dodge background - I really need some advice on making solid backgrounds that dont take FOREVER)
