Those who know Amy pretty well know that she's often a closed book. She usually finds it difficult to trust others and always has her guard up no matter who it is. But before that, she wasnt like the person she is currently.

She used to be happy, innocent, and always smiling. Amy had a decent life for many years with the man she loved (even though it was unspoken). But when the day came of their separation (or in her eyes, the abandonment), it completely devastated her because he was the one who she trusted the most and the only person she had to hold on to. Afterwards, she was never the same. Amy fell into a deep depression and her views on the world changed but at the same time, it taught her to be careful of who to trust. The emotional pain alone was enough to change her into the person she is now. In her head, she "killed" her old self who she perceived to be weak and naive because she believed that she would never survive in the real world.

I guess the whole point of this picture is that you rarely see Amy be.... Vulnerable. She's the type to bottle up her emotions, she almost never talks about her problems, and never dares to let anyone see her cry. In all, Amy is the silent screamer.
