So I was mowing my yard back in April (2012) when I saw a little black and orange jumping spider trying to get to safety. Naturally, I stopped the mower and helped the poor little guy get to the tall grass where I wouldn't be mowing. For reasons I still can't figure out, this simple action got me thinking about Fluttershy. One thought lead to another, my creativity took over, and this scene was formed in my mind. I drew and inked it in about two days, then left it alone until the second of November, when I painted it in one day.As for the scenario of Fluttershy meeting a buck while gathering purple flowers in Whitetail Wood, or what she did to offend him; I'll leave the details up to speculation.

Yaks? Well, that would be... interesting. I'm sure the animators would have a blast with all that hair. I just can't help but wonder what kind of accent they'd speak with.

I don't think they would have accent. Deer and elks can be found almost anywhere on the world. For funny, they would have a Scandinavia accent.

Heres my idea: Fluttershy is picking rare flowers that only grow in that forest when suddenly a deer pops up. "Stop it! Stop! Your ruining my garden!" he says, before stomping his feet on the ground. "Get away from here before I teach you a real lesson!" With that threat, he lowered his horns at the little pegasi.
Fluttershy, of course, was frightened, and squished herself to the ground, her hooves covering her face. "I-I-I-i'm sorry...I d-d-didn't know this was your garden..." She scooted backwards, away from the plants. The deer began to look more forgiving, but at last he snorted. Hesitantly, he said sternly, "Don't do it again. This is my garden."

I've always loved the idea of deers being in the show, especially since hearing about the episode idea involving a deer family that was told by show writers. But anyway it's a great concept, it's well drawn and painte,d and I have a soft spot for traditional art so I love it! Great work!
