The image was inspired by a Bleach community in which someone asked, essentially, "What if Karin were to become a Shinigami". For those of you unfamiliar with the series, it takes a bit of explanation and there are things like Wikipedia that will explain it far better than I. But instead of that, GO WATCH THE SERIES! Seriously, what are you doing with yourself if you haven't seen Bleach?
I prefer the manga to the anime, but that's neither here nor there. Go check it out.Anyway, so this inspired a quick doodle of Karin-chan being her usual, tomboyish self. I love the ballcap idea. I should use that somewhere else too ^^ She's in Cap'N Tiny's division, hee~ It only seemed right. Wow, wouldn't Karin and Toushirou make a cute couple? :think:

I think Yuzu could maybe cute a Hollow into submission XD Tatsuki would kick some serious Hollow butt, though. Don't you think? She'd be unstoppable.

Yeah, the hollows would fear Yuzu's cuteness and run back to hollow land xD.
Tatsuki on the other hand o__o i can really see her learning from Yoruichi, since they both do the hand-to-hand combat. =3 She would totallly kick some hollow tail xD
but i really think they're getting out of hand with so many main characters @__@ but hehe....its the 'more the merrier' at times too xD

I can't see Karin being a shinigami. If she were, then she'd be one of the main characters. And in my book, she's a minor. Just like the "BWHAHAHA!" man.

I'll be honest, I haven't seen more than one episode of Bleach. It does seem like it would be a really good series, but I am behind the curve on so many anime. I feel my otaku street cred slipping away.
This piece is awesome though. So I will have to comment on the merits on an artistic capacity. The ballcap is a great touch and I really like the expression. The perspective is also gives it a more dynamic feel.
