I live right around the Bible Belt. It's crazy conservative around here. People look at you cross-eyed if you mention anything sexual, but they're sure as heck ready to use God as an excuse to go to war. I never really understood that attitude.

Personally, I'm against sexual immorality and the kind of wars you're speaking of.
But maybe that is because I'm a orthodox Catholic, and we tend to oppose lots of things in modern society from left to right wing ideas for example.
I don't like Bible Belt Protestantism for example, way too incoherent, as you said.
It reminds me about the people in this site that hates yaoi and likes yuri. No, if you don't like one, you have to dislike the another too, since is the same thing.
If you are against one kind of immorality, you have to be against all immorality. If not, is hypocritical.
