Asuka is a character that I've wanted to be a full-fledged fighter in Smash Ultimate ever since DLC for Joker (Persona 5) was announced.

Now you might be like, "Oh, she's just another Anime Swordfighter and we already had enough of those to begin with." Well, instead of wielding 1 sword, as you can see, Asuka wields two.

Her chances are not as slim as you think they are, although Sakurai wants to make the game as family friendly as he possibly could, if we had MF Zero Suit and Bayonetta in the game, then there's no telling we can't have Senran Kagura's Icon be in it as well, and also Senran Kagura debuted as a video game on a Nintendo console before having 2 anime and 3 manga adaptations.

Also, with Homura and Yumi (Asuka's comrades) being in other fighting games, I'll say Asuka's got a good shot. Make It Happen, Sakurai! Put Asuka In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
