Every once in a while I think about that one time my biology teacher decided to explain how cell walls affect organisms by standing perfectly still and staring at the class wide-eyed for 20 minutes while we all sat in silent horror trying to figure out if he was okay because honestly he didn't explain what he was doing really until he was doing it - and anyway have an eye tree.The original intent had been to make it look as normal / pleasant as possible while still adding the eyes to throw it off but I don't think I really achieved the affect I was looking for.Β

My my, the creepy levels are over 9000! But I have to say that you did a very good work drawing the olive tree, it's not an easy tree to draw, and all those eyes look really cool and interesting.

I think you did a good job with the effect you were aiming for! The tree itself is natural and rounded; not too jagged, sharp, and dark like most artists tend to lean toward while drawing 'creepy trees'. The coloring is soft save for the outlining, making it feel gentle and normal.
The eyes feel like they're a natural part of the tree, but their presence definitely gives it the unnerving effect you're seeking. Fabulous! ^^
