that was me at exactly 10 o'clock last night when I was reading The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and President Snow said something shocking. I was like 'O0O ...CALLED IT!!'

uh, no... people told me to read them years ago but I wasn't into things like that. but I recently read a book review about it in English at school and I decided that I should read it and now I LOVE IT!!

really? I've only just started reading the 3rd book. when Snow said that for the 3rd Quarter Quell the names in the reaping ball would be the names of the victors I was like Jordan in this picture. after a while I remembered that I though 'hold on; I saw a part from the second movie and it had Peeta and Katniss in a place that looked strangely like an arena... they're gonna be tributes again aren't they?' and shouted 'CALLED IT!!'. because ever since I saw one episode where I guessed exactly what would happen and was right I started saying that whenever I did something like that in a movie or show or book. it's fun! and oh my gosh, the ending for catching fire!! Gale says "Katniss, there is no District 12." I almost fainted!! no book I have read ends like that!!

so far the 3rd book is good... but I'm only up to chapter four, haven't had much reading time lately... and I agree! they are awesome! to me the movies are too jumpy and the characters like Rue don't seem as important as they actually are, because without Rue Katniss would be dead! they could have tried to imply that... but still they're awesome!

I've seen bits and pieces from the second movie and it looks good.... ok, I have to start nagging my mum and dad to find the movies in the shops or something... too bad the Video Ezy (which I pronounce eh-zee instead of easy) in town got closed because everybody's getting movies vie the internet. :/ that stuff never works for my family. but the best part of book 3: "Finnick? maybe some trousers?" "why? do you find this Β distracting?" XD I so hope it's in the movie! but don't spoil it, I hate spoilers, even if it's just something like that! I tend to 'pick apart' the movies that I've already read the books for when I see them, and if I don't do that I can't enjoy the movie the next time I see it. Β

.................. why would you do that?! then there's no point in reading the book. unless it's one of those things were it shows something happening and then the main character saying something like: "how did this happen, you ask?" like in Megamind, that's not a good way to start.
and I've been reading a book called 'Tooth and Claw' and there is an excessive amount of death. so much it isn't sad anymore.

at least it had an ok ending... it kinda made the ending really short and didn't answer any questions about the enemy they had to kill. I hate that. I have no idea what it was. the book describes it as a 'shadowy, human like figure, slightly hunched over and slightly bigger than a large dog.' I'm thinking it's a monkey. but monkeys don't have lighting that comes out of it's hands and kills things instantly. maybe it's a demon. I don't know.
