Welp, the CMC finally got their cutie marks. Took them 5 years and 109 episodes to do it (or 101 if you don't start counting until the episode Apple Bloom was introduced, or 98 if from the episode the CMC were introduced), but they finally did it and head canons everywhere exploded into non-existence. Well, some people's anyway. For others including me, the end result still followed a similar idea that we were hoping for as the CMC plan on helping others understand their cutie marks. I was expecting/hoping that they would help other blank flanks get their cutie marks, but I actually like the show's idea better as it removes the potentially unhealthy obsession of trying to get one's cutie mark. Episode wise, I really enjoyed it and I loved all the musical numbers. Who knew that we'd get another musical episode? This being the case, I expect at least one musical episode in Season 6 since we've had at least one every season since Season 3. No real problems with this episode thinking on it in hindsight. Definitely one of the best of the season for me. I'm so buying this episode on iTunes when it releases on Monday.
