"Come over here," he said, opening his arms for her.She set the book on the table as he pulled her close, resting his forehead against her own. Somehow he knew she needed a break, how the memories could come back.
His palm pressed at her back, holding on to her. As she ran her fingers through his bright hair, she allowed a small smile onto her face. They would both be fine in the end.
