Description She had not seen her friend Selena in weeks; no one was saying anything to her. Nanami tried to see Selena's twin Salem, but he barely said two words to her. The ocean was churning, but it felt wrong, like it was far away, or she was feeling the small ripples and a larger tsunami was forming. It was affecting her everything; she was dreaming of annihilation, and every once in a while she could see darkness encroaching on her waking world. The worse dream she had was her baring witness to the ocean turning to blood; after that they just kept getting worse.

Miharu was trying to help but Nanami could not find the words to explain her torrent. She needed to be near the sea, so she headed to the shore and paddled out on a surfboard. She needed the sea air, the waves, and the salt spray. Over head gulls and terns chattered and wheeled riding the winds. She closed her eyes and tried to figure out what was going on; there were so many pieces, and none of the fragments seemed to fit together to make a whole picture. She was trying to make sense of it all when the waves she was riding suddenly stopped; she opened her eyes and sat up. Her worst dreams were coming true; the water was crimson, and dead fish and sharks floated all around her. She gasped in horror, she whipped her head all around trying to see everything, and her sudden movements caused her to fall into the sea of blood and death. Surprised at her own clumsiness she struggled to get back on her board; the scent of decaying sea life was making her gag, and she couldn't seem to find her grip. Suddenly the sea started to move; the sanguine water was ebbing, as if a large wave was forming. Nanami tried to stay above the water, but the oceans turned violent, as if tiring of her inability to figure out what was affecting it. She choked on sodium saturated water, putrid fish guts, and blood as a rip tide dragged her down. The squall threw waves large and small at her causing her board to hit her in the head; she felt herself sinking as her body tired. Her lungs screamed for air as she started to pass out; in that moment beyond panic a calmness overtook her. She opened her eyes and saw beyond the blood and demise; she reached out and touched a shark floating close by, it jerked and came back to life. Nanami looked at her hands; they glowed aqua and she felt the power of Neptune fill her. She closed her eyes and urged her energy to help the sea around her; to resurrect the death around her even if it meant her own demise. When she opened her eyes everything was back to normal; there was no blood, or chum in the water. The only light close by was from the her Neptune symbol on her forehead; she felt herself sinking, and soon angler fish lanterns glowed and flared around her. Their lights were joined by other bioluminescent creatures; they formed a path that Nanami was compelled to follow. Her lungs no longer screamed for air and she did not feel the pressure as she dove deeper and deeper. The water became icy, and the darkness all around her was suffocating, and the lights from the sea life did not cast a wide glow. She carried on her legs burning with the effort; she was a strong swimmer but even she had her limits. Just then she spied more lights, and the cold water started to warm up, and the torrent increased as the trail ended. A glowing octopus swam by revealing how deep she was; she was close to the sub-thermal vents that spewed lava and chemicals from deep within the Earth's mantel and crust. She looked at everything; the darkness, and light, the water, salt and chemicals, and all the life living around it. A tube worm sank into it's sheath and formed a chalice like formation. The heart of the sea was trying to tell her something that would help her in the turmoil that was coming. She reached for the luminescent grail its' form was not clear but she knew it was something she needed to find; her hand nearly touched it, but as she did a deep rumbling filled her ears and she jerked awake.
She floated on her board; the sea birds cried, and the sun beat down on her. Close by some people surfed, and the low drone of boat engines passed by. Nanami sat up and looked around; there was nothing out of the ordinary, except for the nervous excitement in her heart. She ran her hand through her short hair and sighed in relief. She got her answer, and now she had a quest. Perhaps this new thing would allow her to aid her friends, and what ever was going to come. She lay on her board and paddled a short way until she caught a wave, and rode it to the shore. She wowed everyone by expertly riding it onto the sand; she gathered her board and walked up the beach to her car. She smirked as she knew this was a whole adventure opening up before her.

It's a good start. Would like to know the grail that Nanami was trying to reach for.

I was thinking like a crisis grail but ocean oriented....like a barrel coral...or sea glass...the sea glass would work but she would have to access the abyssal or hadal planes of the deep ocean...near the vents...hmmmmm it is still an idea in progress....LOL

Sorry this came about after look at the Neo Sailor Neptune forms that included the Seraphim(angel/air) forms and Mythic(has wings)....all the forms follow Itoe....and not the senshi courts individual elemental powers....
