Also, Lucy can do better than Rocky Sprokes (who's an obvious gary-stu) and Lincoln can do better than Ronnie Ann (who is one of the better examples of bad girlfriends in fiction).

almost every other ship that's on there that are canon so Dipper x Wendy is just a filler choice because I want it to put it somewhere
Also I do prefer Rocky over Silias, because of that he isn't a non-goth which does give Lucy some development which is what makes it interesting in this episode, and as for Lincoln x Ronnie Anne I did put it in as because of fanwork, and in some respects the fanwork based on the show can be better than the show itself

By 'interesting', you mean badly written, being "Black in Black", i.e. his debut and where Lori was incessantly abusing Bobby (especially at that part where she struck him with that golf club; that was low, even for Lori.). And there's not enough fanwork that will have Ronnie Ann and Lincoln's chemistry (as a couple) work better, and the fact their oldest siblings (Lori & Bobby keep this in mind) are currently dating would just make things awkward (to say the least) between Lincoln and Ronnie Ann.

what makes it interesting it just shows that it give Lucy some humanity, to show that she's more than a goth girl, I'm gonna to act like this is the first time, I'm sure they might have did this before this episode, might be because of I've haven't seen every episode, the one thing cannot get behind is the show introducing a love interest (that isn't Ronnie Anne because that's a completely different story) only have that one thrown to the wayside in favor for another one with no explanation.
