This is one of the many White Zetsu soldiers that fought against the Allied Shinobi Forces during the 4th shinobi world war. They are beings created from the DNA of the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju, and, as a result, have some control over natural forces such as trees.

In other news, I recently got a new scanner. This scanner allows me to adjust the contrast on the pictures that I upload. By adjusting the contrast on the chibis, and can make the outline a much more pure black and the rest a much whiter white. I'm actually kind of unjustifiably happy with this minor change.
