So, some days ago I got my first Moleskine notebook - that watercolour pocket size one and as I'm a huge journal/sketchbook/notebook freak, I am totally hyper about it and loving it as well. β₯Probably totally overrated notebooks, but they somehow feel special [thanks great marketing!]. ^^
I'm waiting for my pocket size sketchbook now~

The scanner is all the way across the backyard [don't ask xD], so I made a little snapshot of my first drawing I did in the notebook. =]

They are not THAT expensive and ebay is always a choice [I got mine there], because there are people who get them cheaper, like staff, etc, so they sell brand new ones cheaper as well. :]
And also, you don't have to get a big one! The smaller ones seem more special. C:

I was actually wanting the bigger one but I can't decide whether to have a watercolour one or just a normal notebook with lined paper

Watercolour one will not be as great for taking notes/writing, if you were also considering a normal notebook. See what you do more or wanna practice more - if it's watercoloring, then the watercolor one, if it's writing, then the notebook. ^^

I have two this size - this one is watercolour and the other one is sketchbook, like.. with normal drawing paper.

Oh wow! I just got this same one yesterday and it's my first ever moleskine too! I wanted one a little bigger, but it's something about the...smallness of it that i've some how become partial to. Have you tried a bunch of materials on it, or just watercolors? Im mostly a pencil user, but i think i might have to start carrying watercolors with me because whenever i draw on a watercolor pad i HAVE to add colors or it won't feel right XD
Also, i am a notebook freak too. I got this before finishing the last two i had XD I never finish notebooks, haha (well except a few) and i have a WHOLE BOOKCASE full

That's great that you have one now. ^D^ And I felt the same about the smaller size and actually was thinking of getting a bigger one as well. xD
I have used it just once for this drawing as I draw reeeeally rarely in my notebooks, there has to be special inspiration and feeling when I take one of my physical notes. Otherwise I start sketching and get no where with it, get to erase and then it's just depressing. :'D
So I actually have no finished notebooks, but every one of them has some or at least one special drawings in them. ^^

I actually got a bigger one (well, the next size up, not the really big ones) and it's a sketchbook and i finished it in 15 days
These things are MAGICAL. I never finish anything either...except that one sketchbook and i had to force myself to finish it

Ah so lovely *u* My brother gave me a moleskine for my birthday, but I've always been too scared to draw in it so it's still mostly blank ;A; I wish I could fill it with pretty things like this! β₯

Yeah, I'm afraid to draw in it as well, I don't want to screw up. :'D Though I have several sketchbooks and notebooks [I have an obsession], I rarely draw in them, just now and then when I'm really inspired or feel like it~ Otherwise I just draw on blank paper and if I screw something up I can not worry about it. C:

It'd be heartbreaking to mess up in such a pretty sketchbook, too! I have my black visual diary sketchbooks that I draw in every day β₯ But I don't mind if I make a mess of them, because they're cheap :'D My one rule is I'm not allowed to rip pages out ;D hehe. can't draw on blank paper 'cause then my housemate steals them and puts them on her walls XD
