Ali quickly brushed of Axel to block her very steamed boyfriend from swinging his unsheathed kantana at him.

"Leo! Leo wait! I Can explain!" She shrieked, standing between the two. For the first time, Ali looked pasted her shoulder to see Axel standing perfectly calm, but holding a frightened Harper tightly in his arms.

Was it because she was there? Or was it because he had to be brave for her?

"Explain what? He kidnapped you?? You ran out of the lair to find some imaginary girlfriend of his?! Ali he's using you!" Leo yelled, trying to push pass her, but she stood her ground.

"I'd never use my little sister like that!! Not anymore!" Axel barked

"Sure, like it hasn't happened in the past year!-"

"ENOUGH!" Ali growled, causing the three to jump at her tone. She sighed

"Look Leo, your probably gonna ground me, break up with me or whatever for not listening to you...But I lived 14 years without you, and I was capable of doing things on my own and I still am...I adapt and learn quickly. I can handle whatever this city has to offer. Mutant or not, I would have still had to deal with the big Apple on my own. Without you. The only way I figured you to actually understand that, was to go off on my own and successfully complete a mission all on my own. And I did..and Axel's so called imaginary girlfriend is real! No offense.." Ali said sheepishly

"None taken..." Axel nodded, Ali nodded back, and glaced back at Leo, who was starting at her in awe.

"I went to dimension X alone, found Harper using my senses, and fended off dozens of kraang and brought us both home safely...and on top of that I pulled a "Mikey" and blew up the lab...." she sighed, looking down "I get if you want to end it right here, I'm probably not the best choice for a girlfriend anyways...my last three boyfriends told me so..."

"Ali are you kidding me?"

"Huh?"

"I love you too much to leave you, we've been through too much together and I can't imagine myself with anybody else besides you..." He smiled petting her ears "And as far as the mission goes, I'm so proud of you. And I already know what it's like to be cooped up from the outside world...I should have listened to you the first time..."

"R-really?" Ali said eyes widen in surprise

"Yeah, look at all you accomplished...you reunited them" Leo said, pointing at Harper and Axel, who were still in a tight embrace...

"You did that all on your own...if Anything, if I'd invite you on missions, maybe we'd find Karai sooner..."

"Are you serious!?" Ali asked, tail wagging with excitement

"Yes, if you found Harper in a day, I wonder how long it'd take for you to sniff out Karai...that is, if you want to?" He asked, a little smirk on his face, already knowing her answer

"Yes! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!! YES!! YES!!" She beamed, tail wagging happily, embracing him tightly, finally her wish came true. "But can we wait off the missions a bit?..it's been an emotional rollercoaster and I'm super tired" She smiled slightly

Leo laughed "alright, whenever you want to start" He smiled, She smiled back her pupils growing big as she hugged his shell

"Ali...thank you again....I never thought I'd be happy again...Thank you for bringing Harper back to me..." He sighed happily, rubbing Harper's shoulder

"Anytime....brother" She smiled confidently

I don't know why, but calling him your brother, makes me feel a little bit better about, everything's that happened in the past..." Leo laughed, Axel joined in

"Trust me tur-..Leonardo, it'll never happen again, Wolf pack code...and if your little pup is ever in need of some assistance, and you weren't there, I'll gladly give up my life for hers...I owe you both that much..." He smiled, holding out his hand to Ali. She gladly took it

"Well...this will take some getting used to, but if it makes her happy, I guess I can handle it" Leo shrugged

"I think it's time we get going" Axel sighed in content

"Us too..." Ali smiled

"This won't be the last time, the next time we see each other...let's hope it'll be at Shredhead's funeral..." Axel chuckled

"Let's hope..." Leo laughed

With one last smile, Axel picked up Harper, and ran off into the night.

"I never seen his smile before, it's...different" Ali smiled slightly, as Leo nodded her back toward the lair

"So..." Leo started

"Yeah, I know I got alot of explaining to do..." Ali rolled her eyes, giggling

"Well...yes, but I was gonna say...what happened to your hair?"

"What? You like it?" She giggled

END!!! Harper has fully returned! She and Axel have reunited! Ali is no allowed to take part in missions! Happy Endings are only happy beginnings! QWQ
