Some little things i can give tho:
MOTIVES god plEASE make sure your OCs have a good motive for whatever they're doing, or at least a motive at all. a character murders someone? they better have a good reason why.Β
best way to go about this is to think about it yourself, would you murder someone because they called you a "big meanie face"? of course not, nobody in their right mind would. and if your character is insane and WOULD kill someone over that, make it consistant-Β
also people learn too, if a character makes a mistake/does something dumb and they realize that specific action they did caused the bad effect, they're generally gonna not do that again.
in Garb's case, he eats the butterfly, gets sick, and then becomes a lot more careful about what he puts in his mouth.
