Description
This deviation was commissioned by ~bullet25fxbxLet's take Lyra, and let's take human Lyra, and put them in the same image in this cover for ~bullet25fxbx 's fanfiction entitled "Duplicity" . It was a really nice excuse to draw a humanized Lyra, and of course pony Lyra and her usual human-themed hijinks. The entire process was streamed on my Livestream channel and a time lapse of the making of this and Wren will be posted on YouTube soon.

Thanks, though my thought process for Lyra wasn't all that complex, but I suppose the "less is more" approach here really works.

Complexity is not a necessity for the complex. That particular phrase "less is more" actually encapsulates at least some of my feelings about this quite well. I think it's more... that the way you approached it lead to it being well thought out, rather than the process itself.

Wow, those sure are a lot of plz icons, it's appreciated. I didn't want to come across as borderline emo; it was just a tongue-in-the-cheek remark (that's the phrase, right?) that a lot of artists are not very secure in their own art.

Lyra is fannonly obsessed with humans, and counterverse Lyra is likely pony fixated..it makes a certain sense that they would be into them selves........................I wonder if that is incest or masturbation c.c...

This is such a wonderful piece. The boxyness of it gives it an odd quirkiness, and really looks awesome. Also, Human Lyra's design is brilliant! Her top, pants and shoes just scream human, and really reflects off of her, making the two that much more different. But, alike, at the same time. This is truly a cool piece.
