I was hoping for Germany to win, but this was too much! They are always a fearsome force to be aware of, and they went all Β out without mercy in this game. Best match of the World Cup, by far.Β
That happens when you rely on a single player as the engine of the team, better good luck next time Brazil, this will be worse than the infamous "Maracanazo" from 1950. xD

Their star player injured...their captain suspended...they lost heart...and their performance on the field made it obvious.

I'd like to think it was also karmic backlash for them AND THEIR FANS all giving the other teams shit and disrespect. Especially considering what they did to Chile when their player succumbed to a then-serious injury and all of Brazil booed because he was holding up play. That pissed me off to no end.
But then again, Brazil has now only started to answer for all of the poor officiating up to this point. They're in trouble.
