this storm giant paladin once served faithfully under the storm king but after being seduced the the darkside by princess mirran he could let his evil flag fly, after the storm king was saved orlekto ran like a coward to avoid proper punishment, after destroying a village of innocent humans he caught the attention of strahd who pulled him into barovia and now serves under the vampire ready to attack the PCs on command
