I was watching a rerun of Batman Beyond and it just dawned on me that Terry McGinnis and Max Gibson would have been a great couple, I know Dania Tan was Batmans girlfriend and that he looked like he was going to proposse to her at the end of Justice League Unlimited but lets be honnest Dania was a space provider whos sole purpose was to get mad at her boyfriend (because she doesnt know hes batman)for missing their date and for Terry to go Emo about it only geting a part of the action once or twice. while Max was a character who knew his secret and helped him on adventures & school work and the fact that she was hotter made me think had the show gone on for another season these 2 would haved hooked upRelated content

You're a bit late, then. The comic has already had Max go off on her own and presumably disappear from Batman's life for a year and counting.

Probably because Max was an executive mandate and most of the writers really didn't like her. Timm and Murakami wanted to give Dana more to do than just be the nagging girlfriend instead of giving even more screentime and attention to a character they weren't thrilled to have around at all.

I wish there had been another season, just so people could boycott to get these two together, then they'd have to re-write the JLU episode so Terry was going to propose to Max instead.

I totally agree. I have been a Max and Terry fan since the show aired back in 99'. It was OBVIOUS from the start that theese two should have been a couple. I did a blog about how on the 3rd season dvd, the interview with Bruce Timm, the story writer and the director talked about how this couple almost came to be. The story writer wanted it to happen, but the reaction from Bruce Timm and the director...it was APPALLING. You can read about it here as I did a blog about the thing. I keep it updated as much as I can as long as the authors keep writing. I'm having a hard time myself with my chapter 2 of my story. I have an idea where I wanna go with it, but I am having a hard time executing it, ya know? Heheh!
