A huge round of applause to those who participated in this and created some fine work for us to readI am so sorry that it took so long to put this together; it was a lot more work than I thought it was going to be, and that's saying something.
Nevertheless, I had a wonderful time reading everyone's work and compiling it here as one. I hope a bit of fluidity comes through here - it was quite a challenge to try and have a flow with so many different view points. But it's funny (to me) that nearly everyone - in fact, I think everyone - wrote about a person, in some form. Whether it is obvious or not.
It really was quite a unity project.

The idea behind this was to write a piece about something you love or care for deeply.
You were allowed to do either poetry or prose, with prose having some word count limits
for obvious reasons ;; I still have the document that explains everything as well, plus the
original pieces that everyone submitted before I put them all together, so to speak. It was quite
a fun project, and I tried to do one again a couple months back, but I picked a rather lame time
to do so, I think.

I started to read this yesterday, and unfortunately some stuff showed up before i could continue, but as far as i'm on this, i'm pretty sure this is a masterpiece of unrivalled caliber. Each word i read fills my mind with joy and pleasure, and manages to put a smile in my face, even going trough ne of the hardest moments in my life.
I want to thank you and everone who worked on this beautifull masterpiece, for making my days a lot brighter and enjoyable. Salute!
