I finished this piece a little less than a week ago and posted it on both Amino and Twitter. So I thought it'd be a good idea to post it here, too. It contains Edgar the Spider from BATIM as well as my own fancharacter, Felicity the Fly.I'm particularly happy with how this one came out because of the grayscale shades I used instead of just solid black and white. It gives off the effect of being a still frame of an old cartoon (although I have yet to learn how to put an old-looking, grainy filter on drawings like this one).
Felicity is simply minding her own business eating a slice of watermelon, which is her favorite food. Little does she know, however, that a fairly large arachnid is creeping up behind her, hanging by a thin web. Perhaps all Edgar wants is a slice of watermelon, too. Or, more likely, he's planning on having Felicity for supper instead.
Anyways, that's all for now. I'm hoping to make more drawings in this style in the future!
