Indeed! (Honestly, I'd love to see a fan fiction crossover that has homeworld and cybertron fighting against each other somehow. And even if the autobots and humans and Crystal gems all do get along, there might be a bit or animosity between all of them too because maybe this isn't the first time they've fought, earth is just the latest in a long line of planets the cybertronians and gems have fought over for millions, if not billions of years!)

Nope Unicron is the size of a planet no gem in Steven Universe is a planet buster Unicron could just step on them and he wouldn’t even notice and the only things that can harm him are the matrix and primus and besides Unicron has dark Energon which was able to kill primus a god of light and dark Energon could be like kryptonite to gems since their bodies are made of light

First of all fusion takes effort and concentration they need to be completely focused in order for their fusions to work and besides the more gems fuse the slower the fusion also the gems aren’t like minicons and besides Unicron is so big he can hold the earth in the palm of his hand the gems are like insects to him

I know he has the power to destroy an entire fleet of ships, but I feel like that’s only after he was in a younger body. Also, seemed like he was beaten a bit too easily for a guy who could do all that he could do. (And if I ever write this whole gem wars crossover thing I’m doing, I might make it a bit of an even greater struggle for everyone to destroy him because maybe it shouldn’t be too easy for him to be beaten like how he was in return of the Jedi.)

Well I mean yes they can kill one but you see palpatine is kinda hard to kill you see he has learned this ancient sith technique where he can possess the bodies of others and he has a bunch of mindless clone of him in a secret laboratory so yes they can kill one of his bodies but not him entirely

Maybe, but I guess I wanted to make the diamonds, especially white diamond, as one of the most powerful users of the light side of the force in the universe, and all gems are kinda aligned with the light side of the force in my story, and are all force sensitive, but are more limited in what they can do as opposed to what the Jedi and Sith can do. But if the diamonds all fuse, maybe they’ll have enough power to not only destroy Palpatine’s body, but also his spirit before it moves on to another host. (Also, White herself was created by the daughter of Mortis, I assume you know who that is?)

Yeah true diamond and gem bodies are made of light but light side is a positive good energy and the gems and diamonds aren’t exactly good what they did makes the empire look like good guys also destroying his spirit I highly doubt that but his body yes that i’ll Believe also the diamonds powers only affect gems but fine whatever this is your crossover but I highly doubt they can destroy his spirit

Just because you’re made of light or even aligned with the light doesn’t mean you’re good. The Jedi have done some very questionable things themselves, I.E. the great genocide of the Sith: youtu.be/-kplIFFJmPw besides, the gems are beings of order and structure, and that can mean you’d do terrible things just to maintain it. Even the light itself can do that.

(In fact, maybe the gems could’ve even fought against the ancestors of the Jedi and Sith, around the dawn of the Jedi era, and the first of them could’ve even used shattered remains of the gems to create the first Lightsabers!)

Yes, I'll admit Megatron lacks in the "looks" department, but he DOES have an arm mounted Fusion Cannon, as in *nuclear* fusion (the kind that fuels stars), more than hot enough to melt most forms of carbon (but it still has yet to kill Optimus Prime). No offense intended to anyone. Seriously.

Basically, all G1 incarnations can withstand insane punishment and at full power, they can destroy from a city block to a city as big as NY.
As for Yellow Diamond, her namesake mineral is one of the hardest natural substances that exists, that suggesting that she might be incredibly resistant to physical damage.
