I've always really wanted them to show Castiel's wings in an episode.
I hope he soon goes back to the confused puppy face angel we all love.

Notice how his hands twitch when he raises his wings. His wings, the bone underneath would be similar to an arm, would it not? Not unlike how it is in birds. Perhaps his wings and arms automatically try to move at the same time, like when you try to bend one toe and the rest bend as well.
