This is one of my Paladins, there was a time when this Unit was infamous for it´s strenght, but with time people learn how to handle new things. I´ll ever be proud of what they accomplished on the battlefield and while at it they look really cool.I love this Hobby more for the modells than for the game itself.
I love to paint individual miniatures that get noticed even in the greatest battle, modells that are not 1 of 100, but special at itself.
I still can´t get over it how cool this platic kit is. I began Grey knights when they only had metal models, they looked great, but now they are godlike, just look at the standart this is no freehand, they modelled it like this.
I rarely do freehands, they take much time and I have so much to paint
This is my first try doing non metallic metal, tried it on the standart, but of course i´ve seen better, I think I´ll learn it with time, but for know I´m ok with painting metall normally.

What?!? Miniatures that are used to play wargames where humen fight for their surviveing against Machines, Aliens, Orcs and Demons are cute? ok That is something I never thought about, I might start petting my miniatures now. :3
To make these it only takes practise, but that costs time, I think your Cosplays are way cooler, since you can walk around in them, I can just set the miniatures up in a showcase. ; )

this one is really freaking wild. i was just saying how your other flag was rad,this ones insane. after i stop staring at the flag i can see that the knight is just as badass! tons of awesome detail and the metal look is great.
really does look like a stellar model! i don't have anybody to play wargaming with so i don't build, but THIS kinda stuff makes me jealous. i really like your idea of the "1 of 100, but special at itself" that's how i try to go into everyone one of my model builds.
BTW, what did you make the stained glass out of?

this standart looks better than the last one becouse there are 3 or 4 years of painting experience between them, then grey knight standart is from 2010, when I can trust what the Codex´s inlabel says, i got him when the box was released and painted him and the box was released with the Codex. so it´s still old but way newer that my High Elves army standart bearer Dariel.
oh and this ruin in spezific is a limited prebuild sold by Games Workshop(I think), I pretty much forgot that someone could think i painted the ruin too, but i didn´t, can´t be bought anymore it was sold over 5 years ago i think, I´m so happy to own it.
If you want to make something like this yourself you can use plastic packages you find everywhere and use a special felt pen or something like that to draw the image, I done similar things with paint mixed with water, becouse I didn´t found those special felt pens that work well. but it will take some time before I upload the modell where i used that technique, becouse i have to find him, i have too many modells and others come first

ahhhhhh cool! i know what you mean, i look back in my gallery and can see how i have improved over the years. one of the BEST things about miniature hobby's. i dont know if read/ you told me, but how long have you been doing them?
ahhhhhh ok, that's what i had thought. yea i have seen/own a few different 1/35 ruin/building sets. the glass is wild and would fit a project i wantta fix up. was wonder if i could print something on a clear plastic sheet.....but i have a tonnage of high quality markers, so i might have to give that a shot.

i paint miniatures since i was 13 i think, or was I 12? I´m actually not sure, I´m 21 now so 8 or 9 years I painted miniatures, my first army were Ultramarines
nowadays these ultramarines were completly repainted and many rebuild into salamanders, becouse they were so ugly I couldn´t look at them and I wanted something special, but back then I had no money so I had to use something that I already had.
the problem of my salamanders is, that i heavily convert them, so they have so much detail that it wouzld need a huge amount of time to paint them, nearly only my 110 Tactical Marines ( the old Ultramarines) are painted the epic models are not and I don´t have enought will to paint them right now.
If I force myself they will look ugly, so I have to wait until I want to paint them.
