Description A couple weeks ago I watched all of River Monsters and got super inspired, and it managed to knock me out of a massive art block!! which was doubly amazing. These are some gijinka of a few of the fish featured on the show, drew them mostly to practice colouring so forgive the anatomy uwu;;;

Hahaa, well I do love drawing monster people, so that played a big part. They're just like merpeople, only they have legs and fish tails :'D I'm glad you got a kick out of the concept!

I really dig the subtle color on the taimen-fellow, and I like the sleek look of the bull shark. Good to see you doing art stuff again!

Thanks! I think the taimen turned out the best, really got me working hard to get the colouring similar to the fish, hahah. I tried giving each one the same kind of personality as the fish they represented, so I'm happy it got the point across on the bull shark <:
