Description
Here's my next drawing and another newcomer to my list of deviations, as well as the last member of Team Sonic that I drew. This is Knuckles the Echidna: One of the most iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. This was not made in response to the recently released live-action Knuckles show. I just wanted to draw the character. This actually started out as a random sketch I was working on while waiting on an order at a restaurant, but I loved how it was looking to the point where I wanted to actually complete it. One more thing, my signature on the top left was made to resemble the logo of Knuckles' debut game: Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

For those unaware:
Knuckles is the last living echidna in the mainline Sonic the Hedgehog universe. The other echidnas, almost all of which were part of a tribe known as the Echidna Tribe, were killed by a mutated creature named "Chaos". Knuckles resides in a place called Angel Island, which is an island that floats in the sky. What causes said island to float in the sky is a powerful gem that caused the mutation of the aforementioned Chaos, dubbed the Master Emerald. Not knowing the reasoning behind why he has to do it, Knuckles chose to guard the Master Emerald with his life, preventing it from getting stolen or destroyed, especially by the main antagonist of the franchise, Dr. Eggman.

(Also, the very first thing Knuckles does for his introduction is punch the Chaos Emeralds, which are 7 mystical gems containing unlimited power, out of Super Sonic, who is Sonic the Hedgehog with all 7 in possession. That alone made Knuckles one of the best characters in the franchise)
