There's this person who's name is 707fangirl who says she has autism, though that's fucking bullshit. I'm always grumpy because I don't get enough sleep because I have RLS, but I don't fucking use it as an excuse. I will point it out, but not use it as an excuse, as I said before.
Oh and, used.

Oh YES. My depression and suicidal thoughts are there because I DON'T EXERCISE. Bitch please. I go on walks every day. Does it help? Perhaps temporarily to take my mind off things but guess what, Jackass? It. Comes. Right. Back. And don't anyone dare tell me to ' get over it '. Me and others have heard that bullshit way too many times. Oh. Bipolar? You say that's not real? Most definitely. My friend is in a mental hospital because of it. I suppose she's just faking her Mania for attention, eh?
I have some advice for you to use this thing you have. It's uh, I don't know if you've heard of it, it's called your fucking BRAIN.

This pisses me off so much because I suffer from mental illnesses, so when I see others using it as excuses I just can't help but feel like they're faking or just being assholes. :\
I try my best to be as nice as possible and to always try my best. Some things I can't help, but most of it I can blame it on just being plain old lazy. That's MY fault, not my mental illnesses. People nowadays just like to find any excuse they can to not put the blame on themselves...it's annoying.

Honestly, I agree. Mental illness can explain why a person does something, but not necessarily excuse it. I knew someone in another community who was an abuse victim and bipolar, and she was the nastiest person in that entire community. She used her past as an excuse to hurt other survivors and nearly drove a kid into suicide. :/
I have a disability that makes it difficult for me to communicate with people and understand them, when I know I'm wrong, or I've wronged someone else, I make note and always try to improve. It's hard, but possible.

I have many illnesses due to child abuse and genetic factors. There has been a few times I've caught myself in the past using my disorders as an excuse. But that's when I was younger, and I think everyone with an actual illness actually does that now and again.
But I've learned... even though I didn't do it much, I still did. And I realize how wrong it is. I now cannot stand it when people do it. Some people think they have it so bad, and they have no idea.

I agree about this stamp!
Using mental disorders as an excuse for insulting or any other rude acts makes those who have them look bad, so there has to be a better excuse than that when they apologize for their insults, terrible attitude, or getting into arguments with others.

Well, Tourette's is actually a neurological disorder, not a mental one. It involves physical ticks and random vocal outbursts, yet it shouldn't be used as an excuse to be a jerk either.

Not offence to you either, but did you happen to know that ADHD, ADD, depression and skitsofrenia are genetic disorders?
So, it´s pretty much not person´s choise to have one or not. You forgot that in description.
And there is also this fact that some parents don´t want to believe that their child have some sort of mental disorder and won´t get medicine. Also in some countries for example ADHD is not so well known, which makes it more difficult to get medical support for it.
Again not offence, but how much do you know about these mental disorders? Do you have one?
Because some people might struggle through their most easiest everyday tasks, because of mental illness. Those that I mentioned are the ones I know well and they are uncureable. They last for a lifetime.

OK, I´m from Finland where schizophrenia is skitsofrenia. I couldn´t remember the correct form of word so I used finnish one, because schizophrenia and skitsofrenia look and sound so similar that they can be understand in both languages.
Yeah, it´s correct.
So, you apologize for being a grammar police?

Thank you, and yeah, I can be a little obsessive about spelling and grammar, some people might react to getting their grammar or spelling corrected aggressively, so I usually find it best to apologize for it in the same comment to avoid an unnecessary fight.

I'm clinically depressed and I completely agree with this stamp. I know that some mental illnesses lead to mood swings and irritability, but that is NO excuse to act like a jerk towards others. Overcoming a mental illness takes effort, and rather than just whining about it you should try to overcome it. You know how I overcome my mental disorder? By doing physical activity, because what you said about being proactive it completely true. Hard work leads to both a healthy body and a healthy mind.

This gets old, giving people with mental issues more attention than is warranted (especially the ADD/ADHD craze)...even more annoying, the ones who claim to have a disorder based on ONE TINY THING they do and nothing else.
I know you already said this; just reiterating for my own...something...I don't know xD
Oh...and something interesting about the whole ADD/ADHD thing? There were apparently a few people who were curious enough about child behavior to tinker with recess time in elemetary school...they found that just adding fifteen minutes to recess helped the children behave better, and that thirty extra minutes reduced their behavioral ticks so much that those who were on ADD/ADHD medication were able to get off without further incident. Imagine that?
I've never been diagnosed with anything (except depression when I was in foster care apparently, though I have no memory of taking any anti-depressants or even seeing any doctors or therapists), but I've had plenty of friends suggest that I have mild OCD, bi-polar, ADD/ADHD, and depression (still). Oh, and Asperger's. I'll admit to having some extremely mild OCD tendencies as well as some autistic behavioral ticks (and the occasional hallucination, but--and this comes as a surprise to people, for some reason--everyone is expected to have at least one hallucination in their lifetime, so as long as they remain extremely mild and don't start affecting your perception of the world [ex: believing aliens want to incubate anywhere inside your body], they don't really mean anything), but I doubt I fill any category well enough to be properly diagnosed with anything but low self-esteem and self-worth (same thing? Sounds about right).
PS: Sorry for the ranting...

I love this stamp.
And I am a firm believer that people with ADD and such should NOT be on medication. Wanna know why? They never learn how to deal with themselves, they never learn who they are. I hate it when doctors/people start having a label for EVERYTHING. Really, people? Everybody's different, deal with it. Some people can focus better, deal with it. Stopping while walking down the sidewalk to pick up a pebble does NOT automatically make you ADD. I've actually had a conversation with someone after she said something very rude to me that went like this:
Girl: "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean it. I'm ADD, so you'll just have to excuse me. Sometimes I lose track of things and say stuff, so I know I can be rude! But it's not my fault~!"
Me: "Being ADD doesn't mean you get an excuse for everything, you know. Did a doctor diagnose you with ADD?"
"No, I was walking down the street and I picked up a pebble suddenly so that means I'm ADD! I love pebbles! I'm so ADD and that means that I can do anything I want to~!"
Really, kid? Really. *shakes head*
