He stands before her, an ant staring at a mountain, his body adopting a firm stance, and waits for her to make the next move. Her entire lower body has swollen into a great sphere, totally dominating the rest of her, with nestles on top like a ball atop an even greater one. It's hard to make out her red eyes when seeing the rest of her enormous round body, but not impossible - he sees two red fierce blots amidst a pudgy green face. He seems so small and insignificant compared to her new size - her growth changes things, yes, but hopefully in a way that tips the odds in her favour. But if that really does happen, then it doesn't matter, as he will still fight on.
He thinks of Caulifla and Kale, and hopes that he can buy them time to get as far away from this woman as possible. His worries give him a greater strength, he could feel it coursing through him; in his hands, ready for the punch; in his feet, ready for the kick; in his heart, ready to guide him; in his mouth and clenched teeth, ready to tell his opponent that he is a Saiyan, a warrior, and he will fight for his friends' sake, no matter what odds are thrown at him.
And so he continues to take up his stance as the balloon-woman gives him angry petty words, wishing to hurt and break in revenge for what little pain she felt from him. She is impatient and selfish - she's already lost, from what he thinks. He waits, quiet, focused, his body relaxed as this new energy flows through him naturally, determined to see if she can back up her new form.
She makes her move, her speed unhindered by her great girth, running on small stubby legs.
Taking in a quick deep breath, mind clear and body strong with determination, he thinks of his friends before guarding himself, ready to counter whatever she throws at him. He is a Saiyan, and as young and inexperienced as he is, he knows this - he will win.
