She is unnoticed and quiet. Her voice is weak and slightly accented, so it is hard to hear her when she talks. Spends a lot of time observing others. She likes her current job, a hairstylist, because it gives her time to think and she doesn’t have to talk too much. She deeply dislikes people with better lives than her and silently contents herself by cursing people she is fed up with. Otherwise, she has a pleasant personality. Males hit on her, but the only male she is concerned about is her brother, Gershwin.
Bio:
Grew up as the middle child of three. Quiet and ignored, she lived with her younger brother but their relationship was distanced. They were normally separated but she was bullied equally by prats about her appearance and family, but rarely did it turn physical. When her younger brother lost his hearing after a bully assault she became closer to him, but at first regarded him as a cruel burden. When their mother quit work to home-school him specially, she felt rejected and even more ignored.

When their mother died, she enforced her little brother’s cold mood by verbally discriminating him and shutting him out. He gave up his education, but Gavotte went to a private school and blackmailed her way into enrollment. After so long of being quietly alone and unnoticed there, resentment and guilt built when she remembered how she had coped with her mom’s death. She took a gothic theme and was even more ridiculed afterwards. When she ran into Gershwin again, he was married and quite happy. She thought he had forgotten about her cruel influence and began to vouch for him. Sahara, his wife, found her a room to live in when she found out Gavotte lived and slept in an alley. When his daughter was expected, she lived her more happy months with him as family. Her appearance became more friendly and clean during those times. She was distantly there to celebrate with her brother when his daughter was born, and school became much more bearable with him on her mind. Later she would admit to being jealous of Gershwin, but she considered herself to not deserve what he had. While she was around him she learned some sign language and how to communicate with him better.

She thought she could live forever as a happy but troubled aunt, but everything fell apart after Gershwin’s wife was killed. He broke down and drank more than any living thing could handle. Gavotte sometimes snuck his daughter away from him when he got too drunk, but she quickly realized that she had a problem with children. Not knowing what to do, she simply tried to convince the father to take care of his child, but he was dead to the world because of drink. She just made sure his daughter wasn’t killed by accident.

Soon, the child could practically take care of herself but she lived with her discouraged aunt for a few months. Gavotte tried to stay in school, but found it hard and stressful to try to keep herself and her niece alive.

Soon she became hungry and close to living out on the streets again. She had stolen from Gershwin for a while but the money ran out and she had to get a job. She worked in a factory for a short time, but when her niece was seven Gershwin stopped drinking. She believes that the loss of money for alcohol sobered him. He worked again, paid attention to his daughter, and pulled a happy face and seemed normal once more. Gavotte relaxed.

Gavotte went to school again and got a better job when she graduated. Her punk style kicked in once more, and after being a mess for so long she posed herself as young and strong. She didn’t trust her brother for a while after he sobered but now leaves him be. She remains in the apartment Sahara got her and works everyday in a hairstyling shop. A few times a week she visits her brother and niece to find them both happy and close. She believes herself to be the only one to notice how much colder he is, despite his contentment. Even though he seems not to notice her too much, she feels protective of him and his family and looks after him as a big sister; just the way it should have been.
