Description
Hey everyone! I'm back again with another transformation chart, featuring LINK! Yeah, I was originally going to do a Princess Peach chart to keep the Mario streak going, buuut at some point I was hit with TLoZ brainrot and worked on while inspiration was still brewing. I had a lot of fun with this one since it was different from the others. We got a lot to to cover. So, without further delay, let's get into it!
Link: Da-Na-Na-NAAAAAA! And here we have Link, the Legendary Hero, the Hero of Hyrule, the Chosen Hero in his base state. You got his peak condition, master swordsmanship, marksmanship, signature Spin Attack, Jump Attack, Dash Attack, Down Thrust, Parry, Sword Beam, etc.
Link (Hero’s Force): Going down, we see that Link has learned a few new tricks. He can call upon his Light Force, own his life energy, and surround himself in an emerald-green glow. With his Light Force Link can bolster his speed, strength, and swordsmanship, allowing him to use incredible sword techniques such as the Quick Strike and Rising Slash.
Link (Hero’s Force: Farore’s Grace: Further down, we see Link call upon even greater power. Although he’s not a skilled sorcerer like Princess Zelda or Ganondorf, he is very much the chosen wielder of the Triforce of Courage. With his boundless courage, Link connects to his Triforce and draws from the power of the Golden Goddess, Farore, allowing him to increase his abilities far beyond what they were before.
Din’s Fire: Now, to the left, we see an ability that fans of Ocarina of Time know very well. By channeling the essence of the Golden Goddess, Din, Link can create an omnidirectional dome of fire that burns everything around him.
Din’s Fury: Further left, we find that Link has found a way to make greater use of Din’s Fire. By harnessing the flames, Link can charge and unleash them as a destructive, fiery blast.
Nayru’s Love: To the right, we see the famous defensive ability in Link’s arsenal. When Link channels the essence of the Golden Goddess, Naryu, he can create a diamond-shaped barrier of magical energy that protects him from incoming damage. Link can also return projectiles back to the sender.
Nayru’s Guard: Further right, it looks like Link has found a way to use Nayru’s Love more effectively in battle. If he times himself right, Link can parry with his shield when an enemy attacks him, unleashing a shockwave of magical energy that blasts all enemies back.
Farore’s Wind: Upper right, Links plays this spell a little bit differently than he does in the series proper. When Link channels the essence of the Golden Goddess, Farore, he creates an orb of green winds around him, allowing him to teleport from one location to another, much like Zelda’s use of it in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Farore’s Tempest: Going further on this course, it looks like Link can effectively utilize Farore’s Wind in battle. When Link channels the mystics winds around, he moves at high speed. He teleports, using the dimensional border to further increase his speed and momentum as he appears on the other side. Links use this with his swordsmanship to execute power slash attacks.
True Master Sword: To the lower left, we got Link’s signature weapon, the Master Sword. The Sacred Sword, the Legendary Sword, and the Blade of Evil’s Bane has always been Link’s ultimate weapon in his battle against the forces of evil. Now, Link can wield the blade in its true form in which its Power to Repel Evil shines bright. Link’s sword attacks are far more potent than before, allowing him to dish out far more powerful Sword Beams and use a supercharged Great Spin Attack. Moreover, Link now has full access to the Master Sword’s incredible powers.
Aethereus: To the left of the Master Sword route, we see a powerful spell. When Link casts Aethereus, he can call lightning down from the heavens to strike his Master Sword. The divine lightning charges the Master Sword augmenting the blade’s cutting power. This power was inspired by the Ether Medallion.
Fyrus: Lower left, we got something truly devastating. When Link casts Fryus, he executes and Spin Attack, unleashing a great ring of fire that incinerates everything around him. This power was inspired by the Bombos Medallion. Think of it as one giant screen nuke.
Terras: Down the Master Sword route, we have an ability that’s a bit more… grounded!
*Cricket chirps*
When Link casts Terras, he drives his Master Sword into the ground. This creates a powerful earthquake that rends the earth and creates rock pillars that damage all earthbound enemies.
Armor of Courage: All right! Now we head up to the good stuff. Link has always been a noble person. But truthfully, he was a warrior hiding a terrifying demigod. But Link wasn’t like Ganondorf. No. He has always been a kind and courageous soul. He never sought or used the Triforce to gain power. He was chosen by the gods for a reason.
When Link’s needs become greatest, he gathers his courage, he focuses on the latent Light Force of Hyrule, allowing his Triforce of Courage to resonate with his heart. He achieves a new level of strength, dawning the sacred Armor of Courage. Link wears golden mystic armor and wields a new golden Master Sword. As his own “Limit Breaker Form,” Link’s body is filled with golden Light Force energy that also flows from his eyes, and he is enveloped in a matching sheen.
Link is a true hero in this state, possessing strength, speed, and swordsmanship beyond any mortal. He also has a natural affinity for magic and can increase the strength of his spells and weapons. No evil is a match for him. Not even Ganondorf with his Triforce of Power. (I was inspired by Dan Dark’s Link vs. Ganondorf movie for this one… God, I’m getting old.)
Armor of Courage (Hero’s Force): Even with all his newfound godly might, Link can push it even further. By channeling his Light Force, he can increase his power, surrounding him in golden light that all demons revile.
Aaaand that's a wrap! Another one down! Hope ya'll enjoyed this one. I was really inspired to make thanks to Dan Dark's animation and Zeltik's video on the Master Sword's hidden powers. If you're you're a TLoZ fan, check em' out:
