heres another hard drive pendent its cut from a 15 inch platter. it has some pretty odd coloring i think. sort of gold/ yellow . sort of a green and iridescent orange. i think the magnetic boron coating was exposed to some kind of vapor that made the color

anyways it turned out pretty interesting and inset is a blue iridescent lens from a CD burner
