Hi Amanda! I just wanted to let you know that I've featured your work in a post called January Birthstone Dragons II by Various Artists on my dragon artwork site (with proper attribution and links back, of course). This is so creative, I love it! And I realized, I actually featured your art once before, and I've now left a comment there too. You can find me at Writing Dragons , and this feature here . Keep up the great work!

"Rawr." That means "I love it." in Dragon language.

What I love about these works, is that the circuitry in the boards are in and of themselves a work of art. Coupled with these wonderful designs they are marvelous creations.

eh raw materials are also as good as currency for me, especially metals in sheet form i can cut flowers from, or silver scrap/silver wire ends, or gold.

Love this!
The way that the dragon's body flows is great, I like that it almost makes a infinity symbol. Plus your use of variegating garnet hues adds to the sense of flowing motion. The subtlety of the dragon's eye, so that it is just so contrasting the reds of the main body, helps bring some life to this piece. And I just love the added touch of the dragon wing clasp.

Thankyou! i thought the orange garnets were great for this piece really. they match his horns and of course flame colors.

Definitely, the warm hues match with the main dragon feature and the suggest fire. What is really great is that the way that you laid it this out helps direct the eye around the piece; flowing from the dragon, up along the sting of garnets, to the wing, then back along the garnets to the dragon who has some of his own movement in his loopty pose. I think that it is because of the matching coloring in the horns and the garnets that helps carry the eye back to the dragon's head and back through this loop. Though this could just be the way that my eyes move, either way I love this.
