This artwork is amazing! I really like the colors and the brush strokes. I believe they compose the scene's mood quite well.
Basalt seems like a great character, his design is awesome. This painting really makes him shine~

First of all, I really liked the piece of the mood.
It feels very relaxed and look beautiful. You created a great atmosphere there. The brush choice of yours also supports the general atmosphere and your drawing style. The colors fit very well with the overall mood. Also the color tone of the highlights and shadows gave the drawing depth which looks very well done. One more last thing is that the pose of your character and the face expression of them looks very cool.
But this cannot be a constructive comment without explaining the negative points right? About the points those can be improved, I think the smoke around the character looks a little bit confusing. The shapes, colors, directions and edges looks so different than each other. I mean some parts look so linear some parts look more circular, some parts are not very clear if they are behind the character or not. It does not look very complete. But of course these are only my opinions. You do not have to agree with them all :3
Overall, thise piece looks very nice and relaxing! Keep up the amazing work and hope you have a great day :3
