???: "Tell me, how you got here? You never told me that..."Knight: “I escaped here. It’s not what you expect from a knight to do, but I had to. Unfortunately, it was the only way, otherwise we would all be doomed.“
???: “Wait, you are a knight? You told me stories about knights, but never told me that you are one...”
Knight: “I am sorry... come this way...”
???: “We are going to the forbidden room... this is the only room he told me not to go inside.”
As they enter, ??? notices three armors placed in capsules, each with some jewel marking on it. Behind those was the huge portrait of seven knights, standing in front of some giant glowing crystal.
Knight: “These are the Spectral Knights, guardians of Spectral Diamond, the most powerful crystal in the universe... I has a power to create world, but also to destroy it... And like always happens, not everyone wants to use it for good...”
???: “You are one of them?”
Knight: “Yes, first on the left.”
Knight pointed to a knight in golden armor, with red mantle. On his forehead was red crystal.
???: “Wow... wait, that armor is here!!! This one in the middle! You still have it! Tell me more!!!”
Knight: “Our task was too keep it hidden, and also to defend it with our lives when necessary. We were given elemental powers, embedded into these crystals we wear. Those crystals contain one fragment of power Diamond posses. We worked deeply undercover. But ya know, we were not the only knights... there are the Knights Of The Star, but we never had a chance to cooperate with them, altho I always wanted to meet the legendary Meta Knight... You know me by the fake name I told ya. My name is not Fint, my real name is Axel. In the order I was known as Ruby Knight, Knight of the Phoenix.”
???: “Cool! And who are others?”
Axel: “Right next to me is Opal Knight, Knight of the Golem. This guy was the strongest of us all, in terms of strength. He was stubborn too, but not stupid. I recall, once I was trapped under a huge boulder. This guy just hit it with it’s fist and broke it into pieces. Next to him is Topaz Knight, Knight of the Unicorn. This guy was always quiet, but fierce in battle. He never missed target. The guy in the middle is Emerald Knight, Knight of the Dragonfly. He was our leader. I know, he’s title is funny, but his speed couldn’t be matched by anyone. He carried the hardest burden. He was responsible for us all, and was always there for us. Guy right to him is Sapphire Knight, Knight of the Hydra. He was my best friend, and a great comrade in battle. I know him since I can remember. We dreamed to become heroes one day, and that wish came true! He was the ultimate defender, even my Meteor attack coudn’t break his Ice wall. *sigh* Onyx Knight, Knight of the Spider, was a nerd, but not in a bad way. To tell the truth, almost all strategies we used were his idea. He read so many books, that he already knew them to the latter. And finally, there’s Amethyst Knight, Knight of the Butterfly... the gentlest being I knew. I still love her... too bad she’s gone...”
???: “Wait, they were all killed???”
Axel: “I really don’t know... I assume they are. You see these armors?”
???: “Yes, why?”
Axel: “As you assumed, the one in the middle is mine, the left one belonged to Topaz Knight, and right one belonged to Sapphire Knight... he died in front of my eyes... and I coudn’t do anything to save him... and what is worse, this all happened in secrecy, so no one ever knew what happened there... *tears start to drop from his face*”
???: “Oh... *becomes quiet for few minutes* What about others?”
Axel: “I do not know. They were gone in the battle. I remember, we split up so we could draw enemies attention away of the Diamond, me and Sapphire were supposed to take the Diamond and hide it, but someone stood in our way. Sapphire Knight decided to fight him, and told me to ran away... Last thing he said to me was ‘Go! Only one of us is enough...’ When I turned around, he was dead. As for others, I later found Topaz’s armor. Considering the circumstances, others might be killed as well...”
???: “Which also means they might be alive!”
Axel: “Perhaps.”
???: “So, how you ended up here?”
Axel: “Well, long battle drained big part of my power. As such, I coudn’t put up much of a fight, so I did only thing I could...”
???: “You escaped?”
Axel: “Yes. At first I went from place to place, town to town, I was even hiding in the most far places on my planet... but they somehow always could find me. But fortunately for me, I could sense them before they come too close. After that, I traveled from planet to planet, but it was in vain too... finally, I realized that as long as I am in my universe, I could be found... so I decided to escape from my universe... and ended up here I decided not to use my power ever again, in fear that my enemies can sense it... I am sorry because I haven’t told you that before... perhaps I could help you in your battles!”
???: “It is okay... I understand...”
Axel: “It tares my soul apart... not knowing what is happening out there now...”
???: “Why don’t you go back then?”
Knight: “Because I am afraid...”
???: “Afraid of what? You posses the one of the most powerful weapons in the universe!”
Knight: “Of the outcome. You see, it’s not that easy. It is true that Spectral Diamond has great power, but that power can be overwhelming. It’s not that Diamond has mind of it’s own and that it could posses me, it’s just, that amount of power can twist your mind. I would use it properly in the beginning, but later I would become blind, and would probably cause more chaos than already is there! And what is worse, using it might give my position to my enemies, so the Diamond might end up in wrong hands!”
???: “So, What are your plans? You can’t just stay here forever! You should do something...”
Axel: “I agree... Man, if only my friends were here! We would come up with a plan!”
???: “Perhaps it’s time to reunite the Spectral Knights once again!”
Axel: “How? I don’t know if they are alive!”
???: “And you dare to call yourself a Knight of the Phoenix! Shame on you!” *hits Axel*
Axel: “What was that for??? Even if I find them, there are still two people missing! We need everyone so we could win!”
???: “So? Train new ones! You said that your powers is inside of those crystals! That means that power is still there! You just need someone who would use it!”
Axel: “What? You want to become a knight? You know you can’t, you are a Bomberman!”
???: “Who said that I want? I’ll just help you on your way to find someone!”
Axel: “But... what about your universe? Who will defend it?”
???: “NEOMAX is destroyed... and we captured Dr. Xenex! we should be in peace for a while... and besides, I really feel need to help ya.”
Axel: “Are you sure?”
???: “Yes!”
Axel: "You are right..." *smiles* “So, it’s time for Knight of The Phoenix to rise again!!!”
???: “OH YEAH! LET’S GET THEM!”
Axel: “Cy...?”
Cy: “What?”
Axel: “Thank you.”
