While my friend and I were out tracting today, this stray kitten began to follow me around, and I felt terrible because I had no food or water on me, and I could offer it no help. As we were returning to the car to go home, the kitten found us, and my friend later decided to take it home. I would've been happy to help it, but I have a dog already, and I don't know if he would take kindly to this feline. I also don't own the house I live in, so I'm not sure it would've been okay. Anyways, my friend decided to name him David, and he's taking him first to the animal doctor to see if he needs any sort of treatment. He seemed okay to me (no limping, cuts, etc.), though he also seemed quite thin. He seemed quite gentle also, and never scratched us. Anyhow, I hope things will start to get better for this kitten, he is quite adorable
Correction: The cat is actually a boy, so I will be changing the pronouns and name.

I definitely had a soft spot for this one as well, and I was really glad when my friend decided to take her in. I was the one that encountered her first, but I had no way of helping her. I was initially afraid she wasn't going to last the rest of the hot summer with no shelter, but thankfully, that won't be the case anymore

She really is ^^ I'm so glad she was able to be helped too. Today was really hot, and it's scary to think what may have become of her if she didn't get any shelter.

I know, and it was so fortunate that one of us was able to help her. She's really gentle, but she also seems very young and thin and may need some help getting back to normal.

I know my friend is taking her to a doctor to have her checked out, but beyond that, I don't really know.

I can try to keep everyone updated on her status, though I don't think I'll be seeing her often since my friend lives kind of far. If I see her again, I'll make sure to get another picture ^^
