Description
Editing Done:
1: General template/filter applied to whole image. This filter was then manually adjusted to get more of a feel for what i was after
2: First mask was for the eyes to bring out more of the colour and brightness
3: Second mask was to make the image greyscale with exception to the eyes
4: Third mask was for the back ground only. At first i applied a brush only to the cat and the piece of wood in the foreground only, the whiskers took some time to paint over. Once this was done i inverted the mask so that only the background was effected. I changed the exposure and contrast to make it as black as possible without impacting the image of the cat too much
5: I went back to the second mask and the general template adjusting the exposure and contrast further to try and get the background as dark as possible. I had to make the second mask a little darker too so as to avoid much of a difference between the actual cat and the dark background. I wanted these the edges of the fur to blend in with the background without any obvious edges appearing between layers of masks.
