It's not so much that I like them (which is not to say I don't), I was just trying to think of Disney Characters someone hasn't monopolized on.

Oh okay. Yeah, I'd like to see other Disney characters in Kingdom Hearts style that haven't been used yet. But you never know. Maybe they'll come out with Kingdom Hearts style non-Disney characters.

Anyway, the real reason behind all these? I'll be honest and say I don't really know. You'll have to ask the individual creators why they did their works. I just thought it'd be cool to see some Disney Characters taking up the role of saving the Disney-verse as a Keybearer as Sora is/was. (Esmeralda is one of mine, and I believe the Pocahontas one you referred to was done by a good friend of mine...>_<

I don't imagine it'd work if they all were like an Organization in the game, seeing as a Keybearer is supposed to be rare/special/whatever and having a whole bunch of them would be...weird, maybe?

Actually, it wouldn't be that surprising, actually. It seems to be a recognized factor of the fandom that there is the believe in multiple Keybearers. Good grief, there are enough OCs and Mary Sues that are Keybearers.

Thing is, while Sora, Mickey and Riku's Keyblades are obviously the prime Kingdom Keys, thing is, most other stuff could be represented. For example, Eiko-chan's Ariel's Keyblade would be the Key of Mysteries (given that oceans, and water in general, are thought to contain secrets), Taran's might as well be the Key of Might, Esmerelda's the Key of Illusions, Pocahontas' the Key of Nature (similar to the forest sprite in the final piece of Fantasia 2000), Alice's the Key of Wonders, Mulan's the Key of Courage, Mowgli's the Key of Beasts (brother key to the Key of Nature), and Cody's the Key of Skies. Those are just some examples.

Actually, thought of them earlier today, after writing my first comment and before leaving for work. So no, I haven't made any suggestions to any others. If you want, go ahead and use the idea, just remember to give credit where credits due. I mean, hell, one could do a pug-load of shared-universe stories with all these characters; for example, Esmerelda could travel to worlds centered on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows, Taran to, hell, any fantasy game or novel-based worlds, Pocahontas, hm, I don't know, worlds based on Native American mythologies and legends?, Mulan to Asian-themed worlds, Mowgli to several literary book-themed worlds (Mowgli against Mr. Dark from Something Wicked This Way Comes; fascinating), same with Alice, and Cody, Cody could probably work best in either animal movie/novel worlds or ancient Disney shorts featuring animals.
