He was bullied constantly since he could socialize. He was the only raccoon in his village & he was very small for his age which made him an easy target. And for the 2 years Galleth was on his walkabout, they constantly tormented Aiden saying that his father abandoned him. When Galleth returned things looked up for the better (and yes Galleth had quite a bit to say since he witnessed an "incident" of said bullying. Usual rock in a snowball which cut Aiden's lip). Aiden gained more confidence & got two new friends, Benedict & Francis (with a bit of urging from Galleth X3)

LOL yes X3 & I even drew out a scenario of said bullying where Benedict actually did something about it (& by that I mean he chased the lil shit while holding a full pot of water XD)

Still, may ask a question about Galleth, please? Did he ever feel guilty about what happened while he was away? (he shouldn't because it's not his fault; but I get the impression that Galleth would be the type to unnecessarily regret).

Actually he was just in grieving/mourning that he lost his wife so quickly. & giving birth to their son of all things. Plus since Aiden looks so much like her it only made the grieving process worse so he went on the walkabout to clear his head
