Tobias and Tris being BAMFsI love them so much! I think one of the reasons I really like this couple is because unlike most books, there isn't a love triangle, there are only these two

One thing I like about this couple is that Tobias is just a regular average Joe, he's just a boy. In most books, the character usually gets the boy/girl that everyone likes or that is the most popular but Tobias is just like one of the background characters, not to many people have a crush on him. Wait, you know how in the books he's eighteen and Tris is sixteen and it's just a two year gap? In the movie he's freakin twenty four which is a eight year gap!

Sorry for the late answer! I totally know what you mean though. I love the fact that he's just another guy in the heaps of guys in dauntless.
(if you've read "The Host", its like Ian where he was barely even introduced as a character, just one of two normal scary brothers, then became a major character in the book because of love)

Have you read The Host by Stephanie Meyer? (if you haven't, it's amazing. Basically you reminded me of my favorite couple from there, because there was no indication at ALL that they'd be together and the guy was just THERE in the background and I didn't even think he would have such a big part at first haha)

Lovely Pic. I've just begun reading the Divergent series, and I've finished the first one and the Exclusive, "Four" book in just 2 days. I'm the 15th person on the waiting list for Insurgent at the library... So I'm just going to go to a mall in Nevada and buy it. (considering that in my small little town in California, all we have is a tiny library ;-
But I absolutely hate how people capture Four/Tobias' and Tris' looks based on the movie. This is based on the book, no doubt. It looks FABULOUS.

Oh I loved the first two book in the Divergent series <3 I wont ruin anything for you, but Ill just say that I really didnt like the third one. It was just really dissapointing in my opinion.
But the first two were awesome!!! I still didnt read "Four" so Im still looking for it, hopefullt Ill find it soon!
And I hate that too! I actually dont watch movies that are adapted from books that I love since I know it'll never be as great as the book, so I havent even watched the movie

Oh yeah, that's something I just realized. In most Dystopias there's a love triangle. That just makes Divergent alllll the betterΒ Β

I've to agree with the love triangle part. It's refreshing and a lot less stressful. There's enough drama and strain on both their welfare and their relationship, at least there's no question on what they feel for each other.
AND when the movie comes out (please, please, PLEASE, Summit, don't fuck it up) there won't be idiot teenagers calling teams and all the Twilight-y shit that tends to happen.

Oh, I'm okay about the actors. After a lot of internal struggle I've finally embraced Theo James (only figuratively, sadly) as Four, so now I'm really super excited. Oddly I've accepted Shailene Woody right away. Not sure why.
It's the production and mass reaction that I'm worried about.
