Well, in the other one she has such an amazing background, you should totally check it out. I watched both versions, to see which one I liked the most, but I just can't decide! They have the same plot, but the characters either get more complex or disappear. It's interesting, since it affects so much to the story!

Yep, she does. She's awesome, and that's the thing I missed the much on Brotherhood, though the problems there are different from the first one. The intensity multiplies in Brotherhood, but the ethics go a little down.

But do you know why there were two different stories?

Ah yes, the manga wasn't finished when the first version started (FMA), so they had to make a new ending in order for the show to continue, but once it was finished (to a point, since the manga continues), they started a new show following the manga more closely (Brotherhood). But something about the first version makes me so much in love with it... perhaps the fact that it talks a lot about chaos constucting the world and how the preocious equivalent exchange wasn't completely true...

Um... it's as canon as the second, but they scheduled to finish the manga at the point where the series left it so much sooner, and when that didn't happen, someone had to solve that. I guess the fact that it was the first version makes it canon right away.

Well I guess you can say that, but the person who created the manga is still the one who created it all
She's like the author of a book, I guess. It's her story.Β
The fact that it was the animators that decided the ending for the first FMA, and not her as the creator.. I dont know, it's just really wierd to me I guess.
Like, the movie producers can say that they created a certain different ending for Harry Potter, but it wouldn't be the same as if J K Rowling herself created it, you know? Am I making sense?

Actually, the first part of the story is almost exactly the same as Brotherhood, so of course they mantained the voice actors, and the drawing style doesn't change a bit

Well, since the spanish is so different and I really like it, if I can find a series in spanish, I'll go for it, and if not, I'll search for the english. The Japanese to me sounds as if they were insulting everything.
