2022, WOW. This is the first one I've been able to fill out since 2019 where ALL the pieces have backgrounds!!!! [I really need to work on backgrounds/ get a program that can actually handle brushes for leaves/ grass/ etc]

IRL Updates this year, I'm still in my wonderful home <3 Atticus, my cat, had to have all of his teeth removed and then proceeded to get two urinary blockages in a row followed by a UTI and now he is in prescription food but he's doing great now! Gatsby must eat the prescription food in solidarity with his brother so they're both on it now *facepalm*. I've been working for the same company for 3.5 years now o.o which is wild. Where does the time go?

In health news, I got genetic testing done for an inherited disease that I had a 50/50 chance of getting from my dad and I pulled the "lucky" straw and I do in fact have Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy Type 1. It affects approximately 1/8000 people. I don't have any symptoms yet cos it doesn't present until your mid 30s to 50s, but I'll begin to lose muscle control in my hands, face, neck, etc to where I'll grab something and not be able to let go haha. Eventually I'll probably need a pacemaker and I'll probably die in my 60s or 70s, but FOR NOW, we're good! I've started going to Therapy as of yesterday to work through it along with my other mental health which is 95% managed with SSRIs, but it's definitely not a bad thing to have someone to talk to every once and awhile <3

I'm looking forward to doing more storytelling with my art this year, maybe diving into comics, animatics [no promises], and hopefully more collabs! I'm feeling pretty positive about 2023, and I think I'm in a really wonderful place in life right now. I definitely have bad days, bad weeks even, but overall I'm truly grateful and privileged to be where I am. Here's a big thank you to everyone I've interacted with in my RPGs this year. You all have rocked and have been so patient with me and my slow RP replies haha. <3
