It is I, The Cau! Creator of all that is horrible and oversized (as in canvas size) and filled with a chewy nougat center!I figured it was time for a new ID for mahself. Yup.
It's a lot better than my previous one, since I did all the lineart in one of the regular SAI canvas layers instead of the "speshulty" lineart layer. I'm pretty proud of my own slightly unsteady handiwork. :3
Yes, this picture is done in an UBER-AWESOME PERSPECTIVE. I think it came out pretty good, actually. *pats self on the back*
Anywho, this is just a doodle. You children may expect more from me as the end of school draws near.

How do u use one of those? And how much do they cost?

Tablets?
They're like fat pieces of paper that you can draw on while watching your computer monitor. Most of them also include a few buttons on the side to help you cycle through brushes/brush sizes/etc so you don't have to constantly click on what you want.
There's a wide range of tablets to choose from and come in varying sizes, prices, and sensitivities.
I've got a Wacom Intuos4 that cost me about $300 on Amazon.com about 9 years ago. Sometimes you can get some really nice ones for pretty reasonable prices.
I think most people who are newer to drawing tablets or who don't want to spend a whole bag of money usually go with the Wacom Bamboo tablets. They're usually pretty good for what most people want to do.

Microsoft Paint is a program that pretty much comes standard with every version of Windows. As long as you're using a PC and not a Mac, it should be somewhere in your computer's accessories tab.

I've really tried to keep as close to the original IZ style as possible without deviating from it in the slightest bit. Although I'm careful about it, my own style kinda... leaked into some of the lines, lol.

I'm not disappointed in the least with what they're doing in season 2. Sure, it's not as gory, but I LOVE learning about characters and their backstories.
And the type of animation they're using now does nothing but please me beyond all comprehension.

I normally do the lineart entirely on a special lineart layer, however, this time I just played with the controls on the ink pen tool and upped the jitter control to the highest level.
It's the first time I've attempted to ink a picture using a regular layer for the lineart. Aaaaand it worked PERFECTLY.

Shading is pretty hard sometimes, I agree with you there. The difficulty also depends on what kind of shading you're trying to do, too.

Usually the Pen (In a Linework Layer), Binary, and Blend Tool.

I'm a big fan of the ink pen on a normal layer for lineart. (I FINALLY figured out how to bend that tool to my will only recently.)
As for coloring, I normally use the regular pen tool in conjunction to a clipping overlay dedicated to either more pen strokes or for the marker tool.

To tell you the truth, inatimate objects are the bane of my existence--I cannot draw them for the life of me most times. However, I'm pretty happy as to how it looks as a finished product.
