Not a fan of Darkwing Duck's hat here. I think the large brim hat is a major part of his character.
I love the other rest of his design, as well as the other characters.Β I like how his rival looks like a Sherlock Holmes villain rather than just a color swap clone, but also keeps the same jumpsuit to as a shout back to his clone-look. I like how Gizmo duck looks like alien tech.

See, THIS is what I imagine for a gritty reboot for Darkwing Duck. Mind you, it's not in the same spirit of Darkwing, but this is what it'd be like.
I really wish we could get a new Darkwing game; I'd put the guys who made Mark of the Ninja in charge of it.

There was a lot of promotion leading up to the first episode of Darkwing Duck, and I remember being disappointed that it was so silly.Β I never got much enjoyment out of that series ... but I think I would have enjoyed your version of it.Β You've made given it style and gravity without eliminating the fun.Β Great work!
